Finished the Third Romantic Date!

Finished the third romantic date! That leaves Bryan’s exam and then the three intro sequences to level 3. The first one will be long (since we have to properly christen level 3), and the other two will be medium (Bryan and Trish both received their geises for the level).

When the salad dressing is saucer-lickin’ good!

Ha, I gotta get past these third date sequences that I’m working on — all the images are too risque for PG, so there’s not much I can show you. Above is an image from some work I’ve added into the game, of Trish REALLY enjoying her salad dressing! And below is a cropped image of our heroic couple during their attempt at a third romantic date.

Things are going well with the updates. I made progress on the last couple paths through the third date mini-adventure (including the successful one!). I should have the third date finished up by next week, and there’s a chance (don’t hold me to it yet, though) that I might even be able to release the update this month instead of next! I’ll keep you all posted.

I also widened three more Aftermarket 2 pages for 3$ patrons (see www.blog.fuguetales.com/patrons3/ for links). 7$ patrons got the last page of that comic last week. There will be future issues of Aftermarket (I’m not done exploring that world yet), but they’ll be further down the line, while I focus on game development for the time being.

Next week I’ll widen the Diggler version 0.7 preview release to 7$ patrons too.

Release of Preview Version of Dr Diggler v0.7

I have a preview release of Dr Diggler for patrons today! It highlights some of the new sequences, and actually has all the sequences that the new release will have, except for 4 sequences (that lead you to the beginning of level 3) and about half the third date. You can just enjoy the new sequences, or you can play it through (though you might want to wait until the end of this month or next, when I’ll be releasing the full version 0.7).

I was afraid I was going to have to postpone this preview release a week, and felt terrible, since I was aiming so hard to get this to you all this weekend. But the menu strip at the left was broken, I realized, so you couldn’t save or load your place in the game … But I worked double-hard and managed to get it working on Saturday! (Many thanks to GoThunder57, who hunted down a number of bugs, that I was able to fix for this version too!)

I’m going send the link to download the preview version to 10$ patrons in a few minutes. In two weeks, I’ll widen that to 7$ patrons, and two weeks after that, I’ll widen it to 3$ patrons.

This preview version will take you to a Patrons’ Page in the game (after the cover and a page or two intro), where you can click on links to preview a bunch (not every one, but many of them) of the new stuff. You can also click on links to go to level 1 or level 2 and start playing the game as it stands now. Right now, it’s missing about half the variations of Bryan’s and Trish’s third date, and Bryan’s exam to pass to level 3, plus the three intro sequences on level 3. You can always get back to the special Patrons’ Page by clicking the big red button near the top-left of the webpage.

I’m aiming to get the full version 0.7 out to everyone by the end of next month (or possibly even this month if things go quickly). I’m also going to include a “map” that will be free for everyone that highlights where new updates are. I’ll still be releasing a special Patron’s version when the full version 0.7 come out, that adds a few extra patron courtesies (for example, a Next Page button on the quiz pages, so you can “cheat” slightly; plus other little cheats and niceties for patrons).

Hope patrons all enjoy this preview release! And whew, I’m going to catch my breath and catch up on a few hours of sleep now …

Special Peek Coming Up for Patrons!

I’m having a ball with the sequences for the third romantic date. The problem is that there are too few clothes to show you most of them. The image above is poor Bryan trying to sleep after he dared look a little too far into the scary forbidden. The image below is Trish with briefly pink eyes. Did Bryan somehow do that to her?

At this point I have over a dozen paths through the third date, and I anticipate about a dozen more, so it should be lots of fun to play through it. Once you’ve done the third date — and landed on the successful sequence, though there are lots of side benefits to the other sequences too — then you can take the exam and graduate to the third level.

I’m planning a special treat for patrons in the next two weeks or so. I should have a “peek” version of Dr Diggler with many of the parts of the upcoming version 0.7 for you to preview.

I also uploaded the last page I have prepared of the Meanwhile series. I have about 15 or so more pages scripted out, and will get back to them one day, but I want to get a couple game releases out for you guys first.

Finished another sequence!

I finished the sequence I was working on. That’s another one down and 5 more left to go! This next one is the most complex of the 5 (should also be the most fun to play), so it may take 2-3 weeks to finish. However, after that it’s just passing the exam to go to level 3, then the first 3 sequences of level 3, which are all linear, so should be fairly quick to complete.

In case you’re wondering, this next sequence is the third romantic date between Bryan and Trish. The first one was disastrous. The second one was fiasco after fiasco until both were naked and one needed a shower. So poor Bryan has to kind of sneak a third date up on Trish, so that she’s in the middle of it, fully enjoying herself, before she realizes it’s technically a third date. Bryan has to find the right combination of actions to do that. When he’s successful, that also sets up the first sequence in level 3, where they celebrate his passing his exam (and sets the mood for all of level 3 as randier than level 2).

I also have a bonus page for you all today. I have two more pages of Meanwhile that were ready to go before I focused back on the games as most of you prefer. No need to hold those two pages back, though, so I’m going to go ahead and post one this week and one next week. I have a bit more story plotted out for Meanwhile, and I’ll get back to it one day, but games first.
