Kayla’s been People-Podded?!

by Fugue on August 5, 2022 at 10:13 am

Chapter 2 of “A Matter of Will” is now available — more Kayla weirdness, not only with how she acts with Bill, but what she suddenly says to Kyle. What is going on with her?

It’s available at the link (slightly different link than before):

https://www.fuguetales.com/rel/amow-B/amow01.html

I actually had it uploaded last night (in case you hadn’t noticed, I’m trying to get you guys a new chapter each two weeks if I can). But when I ran through, testing it after uploading it, some of the pages came up wrong. By using a different protocol than HTTPS, I can verify the correct version was uploaded, but over 12 hours later, the caching still hasn’t caught up with the new pages. So it’s available in a different folder. I had been trying to update it in place, to make it convenient for you guys — but I may have to change that.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Live well,
Fugue

“A Matter of Will” chapter 1 released!

by Fugue on July 21, 2022 at 12:38 pm
Posted In: News

Chapter 1 of “A Matter of Will” is now available — Kyle starts to realize Kayla is acting a little differently. About 2000 words for the chapter (that will be part of the novel) — about 59 “pages” in the visual novel for your update today.

I updated it in place, so the link is the same as last time:

I hope you enjoy!

The First Part of ‘A Matter of Will’

by Fugue on July 7, 2022 at 5:18 pm
Posted In: News

Well, I wasn’t expecting to have anything to show for another week and a half or so, but the angels of creativity shined down on me. I have 36 “pages” of the prologue for “A Matter of Will” ready for you guys.

The prologue is complete. Other minor things will change. The cover image, for instance, will change — this one is just a placeholder. And the image on the table of contents page will grow as I add more chapters.

Without further ado, the link for the game/visual novel is:

https://www.fuguetales.com/rel/amow/amow01.html

Enjoy! I hope you like it, and I’m moving right on to chapter 1.

Live well,

Counterpoint for ‘Detective Chicks’

by Fugue on June 26, 2022 at 6:16 pm

Okay, picked the second project I’ll be working on at the same time as “Detective Chicks.” I usually work on two at a time, so that one can be simmering in my subconscious while I’m working on the other one and vice versa. (I’ve also been guilty at times of working on one to procrastinate on the other — but if you have two projects going, you’re still getting useful work accomplished. It’s a way of being sneakin’ and tricking your subconscious into doing more and better.)

I’ve been promising the story for “A Matter of Will” for a long time. I have the complete first draft written over the last couple years — not edited, but at least written, so there is guaranteed to be an ending for it. AMOW will have choices, but overall will be more linear than “Detective Chicks.” The pretty lady above and below is Jennifer Moore, one of our heroines, a mother that highly disapproves of her college-aged daughter’s sudden behavior changes.

With the 4th of July falling in the next couple weeks, it will probably be three weeks before I touch base with you all again. My girlfriend and I will be celebrating the holiday with her parents. I’ll wish everyone in the US a great holiday (and everyone else a great couple weeks!).

Live well,

Angie, I don’t think Jessica Fletcher ever stripped to get her man …

And Sherlock Holmes never had to bare boobs to solve a case, did he?

But such seem to be the travails of cute MILF amateur sleuths. Or at least future amateur sleuths — our three ladies are just starting to get the idea of solving mysteries in this first episode.

This is Rylie Doyle, the last of our three nosy housewives — ehrr, amateur sleuths, I mean. She’s a factory worker with a college-age son that still lives at home while he attends. Her ex is — well, she refers to him as the Pr*ck, and he is not welcome at her home. Her kryptonite spot involves the small of her back — she just melts when someone strokes fingernails from the backs of her thighs up to the top of her butt cleavage. That technique is how the Pr*ck got her knocked up way back when. There’s more to that story, involving great tragedy and life-saving chance happenings, but we’ll get into that in the game.

Been busy this week scribbling more story and crafting more of our ladies’ game. More to come later …

Live well,
Fugue
