We wrapped up the second issue of Aftermarket last week. I’ve already started work on issue 3 and will post it soon.
This week we start the second issue of Symposium, where we learn more about Billy and his predicament, and about Lisa, Bryan’s ex-true-love. Symposium is a four-issue series, heading toward revealed secrets, and a hard-fought climax in issue 4. Can our rag-tag team save everything they know and hold dear from destruction?
In the first few pages of Symposium 2, Billy and Bryan are both in a bar and sit down for a beer together … and Billy describes the “Incident” that he’s recovering from … great horrors befell him, he almost suffered unimaginable doom, and he was left scarred …
Meanwhile on Meanwhile (page up today — see link below) … well, this is ANOTHER fine predicament that Trish has gotten herself into. First she was trying to get the pillow out from under Bryan’s sleeping head; NOW, she’s trying to get her … ohgeez …

Sort of three more pages of “Diabolical Dr Diggler 1” are up on Monday. To keep everything happily within guidelines, it’s a one-page summary of the three comic pages. Trish gets frantic that Bryan not– that he not– and then it’s sort of like that old movie, There’s Something About Mary. (Within a couple weeks, someone will post the unsummarized three pages for free over at Hypnopics Collective. Search for Dr Diggler 1 there and you should find it — let me know if you have trouble, and I may be able to help.)
On the Aftermarket front, we have the final page of “Aftermarket 2” up for 10$ and above patrons, on Thursday. Jeanine bemoans her odd feelings at the things she’s doing and worries about her future. Aftermarket will continue in issue 3, which I already have scripted and have begun a few images for.
Next week on my “premium” channel for patrons (Thu,Fri,Sat), we’ll start Symposium issue 2. We’ll get to know a little more about Billy and his predicament (it just drives the ladies crazy!). We’ll also learn more about Bryan’s ex-true-love Lisa.
