Chapter 1 of book 2 of “A Matter of Will” is now available.
Kyle commits to helping Bill battle Victor. The guy sounds like a dangerous bastard, but the alternative is tragically unthinkable. He also uncovers what made Jennifer so insanely horny last night. She’s, uhm, pretty grateful to him for that.
I just barely got this update done in time. Up to now, the longest chapter was about 100 passages. This update was about 136 passages, including the extra images with the “Previously” section. My adhesive lizardian fingers are pretty tired at this point. Next update will be in two weeks, as usual (I’m going to hold off on the changes to Mouse for at least another chapter).

Just small tweaks to the online version of “A Matter of Will 1,” but I DO have downloadable versions now for 20$ supporters. Also, I updated the overview of my available works for the last several years.

I also have downloadable versions of visual novel 1 for you, which plays significantly faster than the online version. You also have all my artwork for the VN, just in case the internet is ever destroyed by nuclear war, zombies or other catastrophes. I have PG- and R-rated versions available (there’s also an unrated version for you too, if you are interested in that). I will post the links to all these separately for you. I also updated the overview of all the works I’ve released over the last several years. Gotta say — I’ve kept pretty busy! A note about the images for this posting. I already posted the cover for AMOW books 1 and 2 last posting, so I cast my net a little wider for this posting. The first image (of the pretty lady with the bound necklace) is what I used as a placeholder for “A Matter of Will” until I finally got around to scribbling and doodling all of it. The lovely model is actually Madolyn from “Dollars and Sins” and kudos go to her son for talking her into posing for it.
The other image is of David Lopan IV and the (rather bitchy) professor Michelle Gatsby, from “Diabolical Dr Diggler” and “Symposium”. Note that this David Lopan is not the renowned one, but his great grandson, with, oddly enough, green eyes.
Up next, I plan to start in with chapter 1 of “A Matter of Will” book 2 (the finale), about the 24th of this month. Pretty soon after that, I will need to skip an update in order to work on a modification to the Mouse game engine, but I wanted to at least move on into book 2 before that.

Novel 1 of the VN is published, and we’re on the verge of moving to novel 2!
This is a milestone for this project. Book 1 is around 62,000 words. Amazon calls it 293 kindle pages long. Well over 1300 illustrations went into the visual novel (and I do try to do a moderate amount of reuse, so that number isn’t as high as it could be).
Let’s see, just over a year — let’s call it 55 weeks — working on the visual novel portion of book 1. By memory, I think I’ve just skipped an update for one fortnight, when I needed to make an enhancement to my Mouse compiler and game engine.
I’m going to allow myself 30 seconds to just sit here and be proud of all that!

What’s up for the next several weeks? For the next fortnight (to Aug 10), I’ll fix up the cover and credits page and make a downloadable version for $20.00 supporters (the downloadable version plays faster than over the internet, and will also come in R-rated (as well as unrated) versions besides the PG-rated version publicly available).
For the next fortnight after that (to Aug 24), I’m going to move straight into chapter 1 of book 2, where the fun begins. In book 2, Kyle starts practicing with Shatihra’s powers on his dad’s new wife. After that, we get to see how much of Kyle and our little group survive intact through the big battle with Victor. Will Bill actually betray our little group? Will Kayla? Will Jen? Will Kyle survive with his will intact? Or be broken — like Bill? We find out in book 2.
Sometime after I get chapter 1 up, I AM going to have to pause for one fortnight to make another enhancement to the Mouse compiler and game engine. The last enhancement made it easier to make nude versions of some images for you guys, as you’ve seen, and this enhancement should make it easier still. And the second book WILL have more abandonment of clothes as we go on. I’ll probably pick on the Sep 7 or Sep 21 fortnight to make the enhancement — I’ll let you know.
